Ben passed to Matt who scored with a good backhand shot in to the bottom corner. Molly had a good shot saved and then Stanley passed to Molly, who passed back and Stanley scored with a lob shot to bring the score back to 2-2.  The scores were only level for a short time before Bridgefield scored 2 quick goals.  Warrington went close with Ben shooting over and then should have had another shot at the end of the quarter, however they didn’t keep an eye on the clock as the quarter ended with the score 2-4.

Quarter 4

Adam was the Warrington keeper for this quarter.  Bridgefield hit the post with a strong shot, much to the surprise of everyone, including the Bridgefield substitutes and supporters, a goal was awarded.  The referee had a good game, the speed of the shot deceived him for this one.  Adam brought a good save out of Adam. Warrington were awarded a penalty after Molly turned the Bridgefield defender, from which Dominic scored.  Adam made another good save.  Stanley then his the post and had another long shot saved.  Bridgefield scored a good goal from a backhand shot.  Warrington finished the game on the attack with Molly bringing a good save out of the Bridgefield keeper. The final score was 6-9.

A good match for Warrington against a more experienced Bridgefield team, who didn’t allow Warrington the space and time on the ball they are used to.
